S(M): the Studio owner who got saved and baptized,
is doing well, growing in the faith and sharing his newfound faith with his friends and clients. Pray he will be able to be consolidated with other local believers in the north to keep being discipled, as I am only able to come to that far north once every two weeks or so. He is also being approached and has opened his house to a live-in situation with an old-time friend, a guy I knew from the New Age circles who claims to have once been a believer in Yeshua. That guy is very strong in New Age and could potentially be a bad influence on S(M). For now, things are falling into place, as he seeks the perfect will of God regarding relationships and in other aspects of his life. I’m also hoping many strong spiritual believers will now choose his recording studio as their place to record music.

N(M): the former ultra-orthodox whom we baptized,
is advancing in the faith and is very productive in creating unique videos for outreach from a very ultra-orthodox Jewish point of view. As his work schedule keeps him from participating in ongoing weekly discipleship, we do lots of WhatsApp discipleship with him with periodic face-to-face meetings. Please pray for fruitfulness and his personal witness to the people around him, especially to be less focused on the video and keyboard outreach only. I believe that will help him grow in the inner man and in his personal life in general.

H(M): the former ultra-orthodox young zealous evangelist,
is growing stronger and stronger in the faith and making more and more decisions towards holiness in his daily life. His prayer life is increasing, he is falling increasingly in love with Yeshua, and opening up to us more and more of his close circle of friends, some of whom are former ultra-orthodox. We have started a weekly outreach in the city of Bnei Brak (a fully ultra-orthodox city). We are going to meet his friends and new people in the synagogue with him, sharing Yeshua.

K(F): the Yamenite girl being discipled by my daughters,
is growing mature in the Lord one step at a time. We’ve seen her growing the last month in a beautiful way, choosing to trust the Lord regarding her life, her future, relationships, and even trusting Him through her lung disease. Her desire is truly for the Lord. Please pray for her lung disease to be eradicated.

M(M): an ultra-orthodox believer and his sister
still living in an ultra-orthodox community, are both growing, although they still live in fear of meeting other Messianic Jewish believers outside of the phone. The sister has also been going through persecution from her family members who found out about their faith in Yeshua. Please keep them in prayer as he looks for ways to reach out to the people around him.

W(M): a Muslim background believer from Nazareth
He is progressing in faith and has been seeking to be more and more obedient to the Word of God and commands of Yeshua. God has used the stroke his mother had to bring parts of the family together and to allow me an opportunity to minister to more and more of the family members, including his brothers and his children. I’ve been seeking ways to reach out to his own family members with a gospel. Pray the power of the Gospel overtakes the whole family.

South Tel Aviv Street Outreach
We’ve been going out at least once a week to the streets of Southern Tel Aviv late at night to the alleys and parks around the old Central Bus Station as well as the new one. We bring coats and blankets, sandwiches and tea, the message of the gospel, and the love and prayer power of the Holy Spirit. There we meet young and old street dwellers, the drug addicts and the prostitutes.
We get to share the gospel and the love of God with these people, who are Jews, African refugees, Russians and Ethiopians. We need more people to go out on the streets with us so we can increase the number of days a week we reach out.
We also need a location and staff where we can help them get practical social health services, life training and work so that they can provide for themselves. We envision a place of refuge, especially for the women. Many of them are raped and attacked constantly on the streets. There are hardly any places of support for female drug addicts to help them overcome the challenges they face.

Regional Street Outreach
We’ve been taking youth and young adult groups from different congregations to the streets in different towns and villages of Israel. Our purpose has been imparting a heart for outreach and effectively training them.
We need the resources, the teams and the wisdom on how to expand this type of outreach. We have been asked to come and help kick-start them, and we will. But we need to recognize and appoint the local people to take charge, while we provide various types of support.

Ultra-orthodox Outreach
There are approximately 500,000 former ultra-orthodox and orthodox in Israel. There are non-government organizations that are helping them step out of religion into a new life of secularism. They help them learn a new way of life with different life skills, which is good. However, they are drawn to experiment and indulge in dangerous and promiscuous lifestyles. While many of them have rejected Orthodox Judaism, they still want to maintain faith in God, but are seeking their own way to Him. These people, therefore, are ripe for the Harvest, and we are seeing a hunger bubbling inside them as they hear about Yeshua. 
Of those who are still in the ultra-orthodox lifestyle and undecided, we have been experiencing greater and greater success. One of the things that stands out is the contrast between what they have been used to in their own ultra-orthodox spiritual life. They spend three times a day in prayer plus many hours of study around rabbinical writings and prayers.
Contrast that with what is commonly known as normal Messianic life today; which amounts to one main meeting during the week and maybe one more prayer meeting and a conference here and there. That does not satisfy the deeper hunger and need that they have for a spiritual community.
Many of these people need something along the lines of a halfway house to learn how to live again. So, we are praying for a house in Tel Aviv or in the area, where we can create a community center and a place for them to be among some strong people of faith. This will create a community of followers of Yeshua. We envision a move of God something like the “Jesus people movement” in the 70s. This will need resources, a strong staff and lots of prayer.

Muslim Background Outreach
We are seeing a hunger increase as more Muslim background people hear the gospel. Some of the new Muslim background disciples are already sharing with other Muslims, family members, friends, and even Israeli Jews. On the streets of Tel Aviv we have been doing small and short Bible studies with people we are meeting every week from Muslim-African backgrounds. Some of their original tribes have 0% missionaries and almost 0% gospel outreach in their people groups. They receive prayer from us and Bibles. Our hope is to disciple them so that they return to their countries as missionaries and disciple-makers to transform their regions. We also pray that they grow strong in the spirit and in the Word of God, that they provoke the Jewish people to jealousy.

Youth and Young Adults Outreach
We have been reaching out to the youth and young adults of the body of Messiah in Israel by bringing them out to the streets with us. Our team includes three of my daughters and my son-in-law. They minister to these young people on a weekly basis, praying for them and imparting a hunger, thirst, and fire in them for the kingdom of God. Pray for us to find more creative ways to reach the high schools and colleges of Israel. Pray also for an outpouring of the Spirit on the youth and young adults of the body of Messiah in Israel.

Support Groups for Arab BMM’s in Samaria/West Bank and believing settlers
We have WhatsApp prayer groups and periodic meetings between Muslim background believers and Jewish believer settlers and others. For example, some Muslim background Believers attended a meeting in the house of some of the Jewish settlers. A man from Holland with a prophetic gift came to minister. We had a time of prayer and worship in this highly contended-for and controversial area. Pray these types of ties get stronger and stronger as we become one body and cooperate together for the salvation of all.

Online and Video Productions
There is a need to create online video outreach material, especially geared for the Orthodox and the former Orthodox young people. We can put it on an easy-to-use website, YouTube and other platforms as well.
Consider, however, that we often hear that the current online outreach videos, although interesting, create antagonism among those who are hungry to hear more. This is due to the disrespectful way the Jewish traditions and lifestyle are presented. So, we want to make videos that do not insult people but are bridge-building. We have done several training videos for believers, for outreach and disciple-making training. We have several more recorded, but they need editing. As soon as the finances arrive we can finish these training videos. 
On that note, I want to mention that one should be cautious and be wise about videos that are circulating currently in social media. Some ministries are presenting as if they are actually reaching to the Orthodox and ultra-orthodox. We know for a fact that some of these videos, even by ministries that seem prominent and respected internationally, contain footage of paid actors to bring an appearance of a valid outreach to Orthodox Jews. We would advise using discernment and before endorsing or sponsoring such ministries, check with a local body of believers and leadership in Israel to see if these ministries have any real or viable ministry in Israel. Basically, don’t be gullible and don’t believe everything you see. Some of these ministries have been damaging other viable ministries in Israel.

Travel

New Zealand:
During the 2nd half of March I will be traveling with my son for three weeks in New Zealand. Many opportunities there await us. Pray for many open doors in congregations and churches there with whom to share. Pray also for fruitfulness and a deep spiritual time with my fourteen-year-old son who is struggling in his faith right now. Pray for new networks of people from that region of the world that will pray and stand with us in support and intercession.

Brazil:
From February 26th through the first half of March, my wife, Lusiana, will be traveling to Brazil to be interviewed by radio and television regarding the issue of thousands of Brazilian babies who were trafficked and sold to people in other nations during the 80s. Many people like my wife, Lusiana, ask for help from the government to locate their biological families. My wife is one of those babies. That trip could be emotional and demanding, as this is her first time to be in Brazil after she was taken from there as a baby. Pray for protection for her as she will be almost a full month in Brazil.
